Chinese New Year Activities
To welcome the students for the year 2025, the English Teachers displayed posters about 2025 incorporating ''year of the Snake.'' From this, we used this to play with the kids using the ''Snake and Ladder'' Chinese New Year Version.
Students were so happy as they felt being the winner of the game and the prizes they got.
Season of Christmas at the School
This started when the students elected the school leader.
She wants to celebrate ''Christmas with the kids at the school'' if she
is given the chance to win as their school leader.
Later on, she won the school leader and as time passed by, everyone was surprised about the time when they heard about the exchange gift activity on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Day, which was on December 25th, 2024, the smile and the happiness is very evident on the faces of everyone at the school.
This is the first time to celebrate Christmas through exchange gift giving.
Sharing the Christmas in the Philippines
On December 19th, 2024, the Foreign English Teacher shared how their country celebrates Christmas in the Philippines.
The next thing was also sharing the festivities, culture, and traditions they do on Christmas day.
He showed how they do Christmas Carol and games to bring joy in the heart of each one during the season of Christmas.
After this, students also applied these as we celebrated Christmas on the Christmas day through ''exchange gift''.
Chinese Garter and Jumping Thorns
The teacher introduced the game to the students and it's called
''Jumping over thorns and Chinese Garter''
How to play:
1.)Two teams with the same number of players are formed. Each team chooses a leader, called the nanay (mother).
2.)The players who can jump the highest are usually chosen to be the nanny.
3.)The players sit on the ground, and the other players jump over parts of their bodies.
4.)The game tests players' skill and teamwork and helps them build confidence and resilience.

The Foreign English Teacher at Wu Feng Elementary School
On November 18th, 2023, the Foreign English Teacher from the Philippines arrived for the first time at Wu Feng Elementary School.
The Foreign English Teacher introduced himself to everyone in the school. Part of it is introducing his country "The Philippines" where there is a cultural exchange.
Interacting with students is part of knowing and also learning from them.
